Crazy house!!!

Thursday 6th October 2022
Better to try than not bother!

No swimming today, it's too much of a rush on a Thursday, even though I've been awake since 4am, I don't want to be going to the baths, I did go yesterday and do my half mile, then because I was early for work, I nipped to Sainsburys to get my pillows and a bit of fruit.  Ended up getting a meal deal and picked this vegan no chicken Caesar wrap which I have to say was absolutely delicious, I'd definitely have again.  I forget how much I like a wrap like this, I think what stops me buying them is the number of calories in them.

For the side I had a pot of fruit, but I'm not gonna lie, I didn't enjoy this, I ate it, but I wouldn't wanna have to eat it every day.

I did however enjoy the orange I ate later, and I dipped carrots in this black olive houmous I'd had from Essington Fruit Farm, very tasty.

I also had a pork sandwich with a packet of cheese and onion crisps, so not the best day but I've had some fruit and a bit of veg, I need to get a grip, I really do.

I've bought chicken, was surprised the breast was cheaper than boned thigh by £2 per kg, anyway I'm using this jar today, 97 calories per 100g, 450g jar, £2 in Sainsbury's, although it was on offer when I bought it.  I'm going to have it with couscous and I'm thinking roast peppers and some mushrooms to add the veggies, maybe onion too, we shall see, but it only takes 20 minutes according to the jar.

Well, I haven't covered the cats yet have I!  Mmm, I've been worried Coco hasn't been eating, weeing or pooing because I've only witnessed one cat poo, well, let me tell you what I found yesterday...

I got home after the huddle and went to take the pillows upstairs, as I walked past the spare room, I noticed the blanket had been ruffled and I went to inspect - what did I find - cat poo, 2 piles, Coco had chosen that place to do his poo - grrr.  So, I cleared it up and removed the blanket to realise, he'd also pee'd all over it too, and under the crochet blanket I'd made was a very, very expensive, specialised clean only Laura Ashley bedspread absolutely covered in cat wee!  Deep sigh, I've washed the blanket no issues there, but the bedspread wouldn't fit in my machine, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on dry cleaning, so I threw it in the bath and filled it full of water and washing powder, mmm maybe not the best move as it's now as heavy as lead and I'm not sure if I've completely messed it up.  I don't care, it's just stuff.

I decided to go buy another cat litter tray and put a different type of litter in it, I folded the bed up and YAY, later Coco decided that one was okay for him to use - PHEW!  Never a dull moment in this house is there.

There is a lot of love in this house though, Aryn came back from school, he's doing really well coping with a lot, I'm super proud of him.  His dad kept me talking on the phone late (for me) last night, in the end I had to say, 'I need to go to sleep', all this legal stuff is a ball ache, but we're getting there I think, solicitors calling at 8.30 at night, that's one busy man!

Right let's have a good day, breakfast, what shall I have, an omelette I think, I have spinach and onions so there's two of my 5 a day sorted, ooo I could have some cherry tomatoes too, I will get a grip and lose some blooming weight.

Mwah, luv ya

Love me x
