August 14th 2010 Tracker

Breakfast
Kiwi Fruit smoothie (4pts) made with natural % fat Greek yogurt, 3 kiwi fruits and honey.  It was a little sharp but drinkable.

Lunch
Homemade Carrot and Ginger soup zero points and delicious, here's the recipe

1 medium onion(s), chopped
1/2in piece fresh ginger grated or 1 tsp ground ginger
1½ pints stock
350 g carrot(s), sliced
Heat the onion and ginger in a covered pan, with about 6 tbsp of the stock. Add the sliced carrots when the onion looks soft. Pour in the remaining stock and bring to the boil. Turn down to a simmer and cook, covered, for about 20 minutes. Either mash the soup with a potato masher or liquidise it.

I've had a light lunch as I'm off to Cosmo for tea, but I plan to be sensible!  I've also took Alfie out twice for decent walks earning me points.
