Some days you just need to rest...

Tuesday 28th November 2023

I had a lazy day yesterday, I'm not gonna lie Aryn wasn't well enough to go to school again and that gave me the excuse I needed to think 'sod it'!  My Fitbit says 4,860 so not the worst, I walked over the shops a couple of times at least.  I used the leftovers from Sunday for my breakfast, I don't like waste and this was delicious, there's chopped up Alphabites, parsnip and green beans fried together topped with a fried egg and a slice of bread and spread, bloomin lush.

I enjoyed doing a jigsaw instead of going to the gym - oops, but I did enjoy it.

I also watched the movie Gran Turismo which I really enjoyed, based on a true story too.

We had macaroni cheese and cauliflower for tea but I left them too long in the actifry so didn't eat it all!

Asleep by 8 and I've had a cracking good 9 hours sleep, bloomin lovely!  Ooo I didn't wake up in pain at all either, bonus!

I'll move more today, I did get the washing and the washing up done at least so I was a little bit productive but you know what sometimes you need to rest and yesterday was one of those days.  Time to recuperate and recharge is important, especially at this time of year with so much to do.

Oh as I'm not having a Christmas tree in this house because the cats are crazy and Minnie eats plastic so she'd basically kill herself by the time we get back, (calm down Anita - you're gonna love this!)  Instead I've ordered them their own tree, here it is...

It's a safe tree for them to play with and it'll make me smile, plus they've murdered the scratch post I bought them when they arrived last year.  How cute is that!

I have no idea what we're eating today but it won't be anything exciting because I've not been shopping so it's whatever we already have in the cupboard or freezer with frozen veg.   I do need to nip to Aldi but can't feel the love for food shopping these days so put it off for as long as possible.

Looking forward to our huddles this week, as requested we're talking motivation and surviving Christmas saboteurs too, a bit of both.

Better go shower and get ready for the day,

Mwah, luv ya

Love me x
