Yay, it's the weekend.
Two years of Be Happy Owls, how fabulous is that, an amazing work wife, we do make a great team if I do say so myself! We have incredible members who've supported us and each other over that time losing an incredible amount of weight. I'm looking forward to getting back to the huddles today, I have missed them.
I finally got round to doing some cooking, the Gousto box com on Wednesday but I didn't fancy standing in the kitchen, we hadn't got much of an appetite either. Thankfully they come with good use by dates on them so this only took ten minutes to knock up last night, himself just about managed two but said, these are really filling, to which I replied you're only meant to have one, his response 'then why did you give me two, cos I'm struggling and I ain't eaten since this morning'. Oops! I didn't think they looked that big but I was wrong, I only just managed to eat one which was the portion size ;) eyes bigger than belly once again.
I loved the simplicity of the salad too, diced peppers, cucumber and parsley with a tsp ground sumac, pinch of salt and pepper and a little olive oil, it looked pretty (you can't see it on photo as it's under the chicken. I can't get the recipe online this morning to share for some reason, so I've put some screen shots at the end of blog.
They were delicious and ready in 10 minutes! Perfect Friday night dinner. If you fancy 70% off first order & 25% off for two months use this link. (70% offer ends 17th April)
A quiet weekend for us, himself is working, Aryn is recovering, he has a bad stomach again, poor love, he missed out on last nights dinner, he'd have enjoyed that one too. Looks like I'm going to have to do my own hoovering! He's not a good patient but then what teenager is.
As I've had a very, quiet week, there's not much to tell you, I'm going to cook a couple of those Gousto meals today for freezing, he can take some to eat during the week then. It was a free box thanks to people signing up using my link, I had enough credit to cover it so thank you very, very much for my dinner last night :)
Let's get on with the day shall we, another cuppa required, although I haven't finished a cuppa this week.
Mwah, luv ya
Love me xx
