Let's buy half the chip shop shall we!

Saturday October 2022
All you can do is your best.

Some days you couldn't make it up....

I had a lovely catch up with my mate who I hadn't seen for a good 18 months, 3 hours none stop chatting, 2 coffees and a tour of her new house later, I drove home because himself had finished early so would be back soon.

Half three and everyone's home, after a discussion we all agreed to go out for tea, Aryn wanted to play a game of pool so that was our mission, we drove to the Wheatsheaf where we played before, but the snooker table was covered over and out of use - boo!  We decided instead to have a fancy meal so drove to The Malt at Landywood - they couldn't fit us in.  As a last resort we drove to the Castle because we knew they had a pool table, but they wouldn't let him play because he wasn't 16 - deep sigh.  It's now after five, we're all hungry, so I told Aryn he could have a Pizza Supremo takeaway and I dropped himself at the local pub to get a pint with the promise of coming over once I'd got Aryn's pizza.

Child fed, I walked over the pub, where we had a catch up and a couple of drinks before agreeing we'd have chips for tea because I'd been craving them all week.  Now as we left the pub the queue in the chippy was huge, I wasn't waiting in that, I said I'd cook, he said no you go home and I'll queue "what do you want", I replied "just chips".

Now himself has been telling me all week, he's going on a detox next week, needs to lose a few pounds and give up the fags which he took back up this time last year when all the stress over Aryn started.  This is what he walked in the house with for 2 people!

There was a good 4 large pieces of chicken in that box - seriously, we're all the same aren't we, one last splurge before I start - hilarious, when I said that to him, he smiled and said, 'yeah, that's what I was actually thinking when I bought it all'.

Thankfully all I'd eaten yesterday was my breakfast which was a delicious cheese and onion omelette with a banana, all I had out of that lot was a pie and a handful of chips, I did have a slice of bread and butter because I'd been craving a chip butty all week.

with my drinks, I was over by 344 calories on the day so not so bad, I did burn 445 calories doing my swim on the morning.  Doing my best!

I got a certificate in the post from Aryn's school which I thought was a lovely thing for them to do, recognising my support, that made me smile a lot.

I've been awake since 4 again, I'd like to blame Minnie the cat but I am already half awake, she just starts playing, pooing and running round like a loony at the same time.  What was nice when I came down was to find Coco chilling on the chair in the living room, we'd closed the bedroom door last night when they went out to eat and I was worried where he'd end up as he's been hiding under my bed hasn't he, but he was happy minding my purse, check these photos out lol;

He didn't stay long once I showed my face but at least he had a comfy night and he's getting happier to be seen.  Meanwhile Minnie the Minx is running round this morning like an absolutely lunatic, up and down the stair, banging the cat trays together - yes, they're metal, that was a mistake!  Thankfully he's not woken cos he needs his sleep; the man works damn hard all week and Aryn well he could sleep through a bomb being dropped.

Not sure what the weekend holds apart from a lovely morning at the huddle today, then we shall see, I will do my best to control the calories, but I'll still have a good time.  Will you do the same?

Mwah, luv ya

Tracktober or Craptober!

Friday 7th October 2022
Be a better you for you!

Well, I improved my eating a bit yesterday, I can't let the whole of the month turn into Craptober, I want to do Tracktober, I have no excuses for why I've not been 'on it', actually I can give you loads but they won't help me lose any weight and that's what I want to do!

This is what yesterday looked like;

Breakfast ham and cheese toastie from Aldi, delicious, you can get similar in tesco too which is just cheese.  I cooked mine in the Ninja and put some mushrooms and cherry tomatoes in with it, then when I took those out, I popped a handful in of spinach for a few seconds.

I cooked at lunch time, but I have to say I wouldn't have it again, not for me, plus I didn't realise I was meant to add a tin of chickpeas and I didn't have any, so I used up the tin of haricot beans I had in the cupboard.  The couscous was lush though.

I had terrible heartburn when I got home on the night, partly the food I ate I think but also the painkillers I took won't have helped, Aryn was eating a crisp sandwich, so I decided to have the same.  He called me a freak for cutting my bread!  Apparently, that's now how you make a crisp sandwich!

Now if I'd stopped there, it wouldn't have been too bad a day, but I didn't, did I, I'm very much a person who if it isn't there, I don't eat it but if I know it's there - well! Bloody mini cheddars!  I'll be glad when he's eaten them...

I should've gone to bed, not looked for my mattress in the kitchen, I was shattered but I was trying to stay up a little later, so I slept a little later, my body clock is a mess, waking at 4am!

I didn't have a bad night, woke a few times, the cats are nocturnal aren't there and because Coco is still sleeping under my bed, I'm leaving the door open, so I hear every stomp - yep stomp, Minnie is the smallest cat I've ever owned but has the grace of a rhino (a bit like me lol).  She woke me around 2ish, sitting on my bed staring me in the eyes, basically wanted a stroke, which being her new servant I did!  Then I heard Coco jump on the end of the bed and settle, so now I'm thinking I've got to lie still, or I'll disturb him - what is going on here!   I couldn't do that, I'm a fidget and because I knew I needed to lie still, it made me want to move more, the cats didn't stay long and as himself said this morning, they'd have soon gone once I started snoring - just rude lol.

Options for food today include a whole chicken or gammon steaks, I'll see how I feel later, it's half six in the morning and I could already eat that whole chicken roasted in the Ninja for breakfast.  This is the problem, I've lost my appetite and found a donkey's, I've become a bread freak this week, I want comfort food and cheese, damn I love cheese, I've just remembered I cut a sliver off last night so that's another 166 calories - oh ma'an.

I did manage to hit 4.7 of my 5 a day, so that's something, I guess!  I consumed 2010 calories, it could've been worse, actually it would've been worse if I hadn't been tracking it.

Here's to Tracktober resuming, let's do this.

Mwah, luv ya

Crazy house!!!

Thursday 6th October 2022
Better to try than not bother!

No swimming today, it's too much of a rush on a Thursday, even though I've been awake since 4am, I don't want to be going to the baths, I did go yesterday and do my half mile, then because I was early for work, I nipped to Sainsburys to get my pillows and a bit of fruit.  Ended up getting a meal deal and picked this vegan no chicken Caesar wrap which I have to say was absolutely delicious, I'd definitely have again.  I forget how much I like a wrap like this, I think what stops me buying them is the number of calories in them.

For the side I had a pot of fruit, but I'm not gonna lie, I didn't enjoy this, I ate it, but I wouldn't wanna have to eat it every day.

I did however enjoy the orange I ate later, and I dipped carrots in this black olive houmous I'd had from Essington Fruit Farm, very tasty.

I also had a pork sandwich with a packet of cheese and onion crisps, so not the best day but I've had some fruit and a bit of veg, I need to get a grip, I really do.

I've bought chicken, was surprised the breast was cheaper than boned thigh by £2 per kg, anyway I'm using this jar today, 97 calories per 100g, 450g jar, £2 in Sainsbury's, although it was on offer when I bought it.  I'm going to have it with couscous and I'm thinking roast peppers and some mushrooms to add the veggies, maybe onion too, we shall see, but it only takes 20 minutes according to the jar.

Well, I haven't covered the cats yet have I!  Mmm, I've been worried Coco hasn't been eating, weeing or pooing because I've only witnessed one cat poo, well, let me tell you what I found yesterday...

I got home after the huddle and went to take the pillows upstairs, as I walked past the spare room, I noticed the blanket had been ruffled and I went to inspect - what did I find - cat poo, 2 piles, Coco had chosen that place to do his poo - grrr.  So, I cleared it up and removed the blanket to realise, he'd also pee'd all over it too, and under the crochet blanket I'd made was a very, very expensive, specialised clean only Laura Ashley bedspread absolutely covered in cat wee!  Deep sigh, I've washed the blanket no issues there, but the bedspread wouldn't fit in my machine, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on dry cleaning, so I threw it in the bath and filled it full of water and washing powder, mmm maybe not the best move as it's now as heavy as lead and I'm not sure if I've completely messed it up.  I don't care, it's just stuff.

I decided to go buy another cat litter tray and put a different type of litter in it, I folded the bed up and YAY, later Coco decided that one was okay for him to use - PHEW!  Never a dull moment in this house is there.

There is a lot of love in this house though, Aryn came back from school, he's doing really well coping with a lot, I'm super proud of him.  His dad kept me talking on the phone late (for me) last night, in the end I had to say, 'I need to go to sleep', all this legal stuff is a ball ache, but we're getting there I think, solicitors calling at 8.30 at night, that's one busy man!

Right let's have a good day, breakfast, what shall I have, an omelette I think, I have spinach and onions so there's two of my 5 a day sorted, ooo I could have some cherry tomatoes too, I will get a grip and lose some blooming weight.

Mwah, luv ya

Midweek already - scary!

Wednesday 5th October 2022
Don't live for Friday, enjoy every day.

Well, I lost it last weight and gained it back this week, doh must try harder!  If only I could lose weight as easily as I lose everything else, I bought 4 boxes of Ibuprofen Monday and have lost two of them already, who knows where they are - probably still in one of the shopping bags.

Still not hitting my 5 a day, yesterday I had sprouts, onion, mushrooms, today we're having stir fry I think so that will help, I'd have tomatoes and mushrooms on toast for breakfast if I wasn't going swimming, do I wait till I get home at 11 to have that?  Long time to last without food, so I shall see, I guess I could take a tomato sandwich to work with me, I need to put a little time aside to think about meals for me now I'm swimming in the morning and how I can increase my intake of fruit and veggies.

In cat world, Minnie has settled in completely, she's all over the house having the time of her life, sitting on windowsills, diving off things and landing like an elephant, how a small cat makes that much noise, I do not know, it's hilarious.  I think it was her making all the noise in the night, but it could be both of them and Coco just plays the shy boy.  He did come out and let Aryn stroke him, speak of the devil, he's just walked in the living room to check me out, then walked off.  I think the really loud run up the stairs could've been him lol.  I'm just glad he's settling; he'll soon be lying wherever he choices and making his mark.

Himself woke me up at 5am, the cats had woke me at 2, 3 and 4 but somehow, I must have dozed before he called, I was awake just enjoying the comfort of the bed, so we had a chat, now I'm enjoying a cuppa before swimming.  I must remember to take meat out the freezer, we're having thin sliced steak with the stir fry if I remember to do it.

I want to sort the kitchen this afternoon, everything's on the side and its driving me mad, I need to find space for cat stuff now too, I used to keep stuff in my alley but himself has kind of taken that as his own and filled it with his car and work men type crap.  I might reclaim a shelf or two for the stuff I buy in bulk, gosh I wished I was organised like some folk, it ain't never gonna happen though.

Right, I'm off, time to get a wriggle on, let's have a good day, shall we?  #Tracktober

Going to work for a rest!

Tuesday 4th October 2022
The fight is real!

Food is a fascinating subject isn't, I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed both of these meals, I didn't enjoy the fact the Maccy's set me back 645 calories before 8am yesterday though.

now this was delicious and a whole lot more filling for not many more calories, cos wise, the Yorkshire pudding was from Sainsbury's, £2.60, cooked in 16 minutes too and for me a silly bonus is I'll be able to reuse the silver tray it came in at least once.  All the veggies were left over from Sunday's dinner so just microwaved.

I could've eaten the world yesterday in-between two slices of bread and butter.  Aryn didn't go to school as he wasn't well enough to go so that completed changed my day, I wasn't going to make staying home fun so made him sit and do Maths, well let's just say if I ever did coordinates, midpoints and line segments, it was a very, very long time ago and I don't remember it, so that was a testing couple of hours!

I'd planned to get all my work done and enjoy the voice; it was teatime before I got to do that - boo.

As for the barmy cat, well Minnie is a noisy little bitch at night, they'd both managed to get under my bed on the morning which I didn't mind cos I'd rather Coco be there than behind a sink in the bathroom but oh the fun of them coming back out, honestly.  Aryn had shut his bedroom door; well, they'll never go in there if they can't get in will they - raaarr lol.  I went to bed early, then himself called me around half eight, I'm chatting to him when a cat jumps on the bed and settles down, but I don't think he'd realised I was there because he soon jumped off when he did.  Back to Minnie, no one can eat dried food as loudly as her and 4.30 this morning she was at it, oh she was noisy around 2ish too, sometime after 9 and before 2, Aryn comes out his bedroom, turns the landing light on and starts looking for the cats, so that woke me up too because my door was open so the cats could leave my room. YAY to being a cat owner, I will be happy when Coco gets used to the house and comes out of hiding so I can shut my bedroom door and get some kind of a decent night.

At least being up this early, I have plenty of time to get ready for work and go swimming first.  Foodwise, I bought a macaroni cheese yesterday that was reduced, it's over 600 calories per portion but if I'm better earlier, I can fit it in.

Right let's go get ready for my day, Minnie's just had a walk round the living room, scratched her post, checked out the window sill and gone, Coco is under my bed again because I saw his ears sticking up = happy days in the crazy house ;)

Damn Monday McDonalds!

Monday 3rd October 2022
If it was easy, we'd all be thin!

Another day, another tracker, #Tracktober is really opening my eyes and showing me, I'm eating too much once again!  My tweak however this week is to up my fruit and veg whilst tracking, I'm not going to panic about the numbers I shall do my best.  I decided this morning that I'm going to take anti-inflammatory tablets 4 times a day for the next week or two to see if it helps my sciatica, I can't sit all the time, so if I take the painkillers, I can move without so much pain and hope that the movement and the tablets will ease it and make a difference because it's doing my head in now.

Yesterday I managed 4 veggies and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Oh actually 5 if you include the onion I added to the stuffing and the half of cheese and onion cob I ate!  Yeah I have a lot of work to do!

I've caved already this morning, bloody Mcdonalds sent me an email offering me a breakfast roll for £2.19 and I had a monopoly thing for a free coffee, so there's a huge 645 calories blown already, just shows how easy it is to use up calories without actually eating a lot of food.

In the rest of my life, we had a quiet day yesterday, went to B&Q for him to get stuff to sort roof, hopefully that's worked, we'll know next time we have heavy rain, I'm sure!  The cats kept themselves to themselves, Minnie came down, had a nosey then went back upstairs to the spare room, Coco spent the day in the toilet, came out when we all went to bed, I fed them late so he's hopefully eaten some of it, think he's gone under my bed this morning or in Aryn's room cos I've shut the bathroom door, I don't mind him hiding but that's not a comfy place at all is it.  Crazy Cats!  Oh yeah, as for Minnie she's a morning girl, 5.15 is her toilet routine and you've never heard anything like it, you'd think she was dancing in there, the noise she makes!  Then she wants feeding...

Now that would be okay cos I normally get up that early but this morning I had to drop himself off by the M6 at 4am to be picked up so I was trying to get a bit more sleep lol, we hadn't had the best night as it was, I'd stopped him sleeping as apparently my snoring was awful last night so when I woke up and came downstairs he was asleep on the settee, I made him go to bed and lay awake until he fell asleep, he was then snoring but I can sleep regardless, I was just in pain.  I need to get new pillows, I keep waking up and my ear hurts, it goes numb and then as the numbness wears off the pains horrible and I've googled, and it says my pillow could be too hard.  My sciatica hurt in bed too last night, that doesn't usually happen.  Ma'an I'm falling apart and sound like a right moany bitch, I'm okay though really.

Got a day of housework and getting ready for the huddles, planning the chat, need a few things from the shop too, so that'll keep me busy.

I have been swimming, did 30 lengths, that's plenty and I'm going to go 4 times this week, hopefully my shoulders will handle that.

Here's to a good day x

#Tracktober & an invisible cat!

Sunday 2nd October 2022

Seriously, these cats are gonna cause me to have a breakdown!  Coco hid all day again yesterday and then we worry that somehow, he's managed to get out, it didn't help that my sister sent me a video of a cat disappearing under a gap in a door - yes sis thanks for that!  So now I'm thinking did he follow me out into the shed when I went to put the washing in the dryer, maybe he's got under that gap below the gate - honestly, stressful ain't the word.  We looked everywhere, at one point we thought he'd possibly got behind the fixed wardrobes in Aryn's room, nightmare.

Anyway, I woke up at midnight to go to the loo and there he was sleeping on the bed in the spare room - little shit!  I went up this morning to see if he was eating his food and he'd gone again, but I heard a noise in the bathroom and I've worked out where he's hiding, he's behind the sink in there where it's all blocked in, there's a gap to get in under the back of the toilet, silly sod, hopefully he'll start to relax soon and come out and lie comfortably on the bed in the day with his sidekick Minnie who is happy as, she's taken over the house thankfully.

In other parts of my world, our members lost a fabulous 624lb in September which brings our total up to 7,346lb.

Our huddle yesterday was great, lots of people signing up for the 12-week challenge, taking on #Tracktober, tracking it all good or bad.  Success is about making changes, they don't have to be big grand gestures, small tweaks each week are more likely to become permanent habit changes.  This week, I'm trying to up my fruit and veg intake, so I had mushrooms on my breakfast bacon sarnie, then with my massive t-bone steak I had pepper, onions and peas, it was delicious.  Still not enough though, I'll have an orange in a bit, never had one yesterday because I cleaned my teeth then realised it would taste yak.

We watched Hocus Pocus 2, it was good, Aryn stayed around for the whole film, which is rare, himself fell asleep halfway through but at least it was family time of a sort :)

Well at least I can relax today knowing where the cat is!  I'm making a pork dinner, will make sure there's plenty of veggies on there.  I bought fresh kale from Essington fruit farm yesterday, looking forward to that, oh and I bought huge Spanish onions, so I need some cobs in my life for cheese and onion sweaty cobs tomorrow, ooo I could make them today and they'd be proper sweaty by tomorrow.

Right, it's only 6am now, I've been awake since half four, the house is so quiet, except for Minnie who appears to be dancing in the litter tray!  Here's to day 2 of #Tracktober.

The Cats have landed

Saturday 1st October 2022

Well, the cats have arrived and he's a very happy lad.  I won't lie I'm already smitten too; I knew they were arriving between 8 and 10.30 and I sat waiting, every time I heard a car or a noise outside my head was up lol.  They arrived just before half past ten, we let them out in the spare room to settle in and they both disappeared, Coco never reappeared but Minnie is more adventurous.  Literally half hour after the lady left, we'd lost Coco, she's warned me if he gets out, he won't come back, and he will try to get out.  My brain is telling me he can't have got out the house, the doors and windows are closed, well we searched this blooming house from top to bottom but we couldn't find him anywhere.  Then finally Aryn found him, in the tiniest gap you've ever seen in the room we'd put him in lol.  Minnie is more inquisitive; she's actually sitting on the settee next to me right now which is super cute.  We've had a fuss and she's been purring away; she's checked out every corner of the living room since I've sat down and even helped me blog!

She woke me just before midnight, messing about on the landing, I think she was playing, I'm not sure, but when I went out to go to the loo, Coco was sleeping on the bed in their room and looked settled, he just looked at me as if to say, don't come in here or I'll run, you've got to work for me baby!  I got up at five and nearly stood on Millie who had chosen to lie on the big step as you go to walk down the stairs.

They've both eaten, used the litter tray so I can't ask for no more, they're beautiful cats, grey and white is a first for me, I've always had black and white cats.

Enough talk of the cats, the rest of the day went well too, I had all bran and raspberries for breakfast, then we have our curry for dinner, I didn't eat too much of that, but I did have a slice of bread and spread, love dunking it in the tikka masala sauce.  It was a good buy from Sainsburys, all nice and mild so everyone can eat it.

Himself got home early so we had a couple of hours before Aryn arrived back from school, which was nice, plus we went over the pub teatime and had a couple of drinks and a catch up.  Perfect day because we were in bed at about half seven lol, both shattered and we did sleep too, I think I can hear him moving about upstairs, or Coco is really heavy!

We're gonna have a quiet weekend, let the cats settle and Aryn enjoy them.  I went out to the shed last night and noticed the bloody roof is leaking so that's gonna have to be fixed, more money!  Flat roofs are a bloody nightmare.

Now to get ready to go to our huddle, love Saturday mornings, they set me up for the day, lots of laughter and success.

He's down, so I'm off, have a great day.

Got that Friday Feline Feeling

Friday 30th September 2022
Take a deep breathe & reset.

I've had some me time the last few days, read a book and on my second, well listened to it on my Audible whilst chilling out and relaxing with a mug of tea and yesterday a vanilla brioche swirl (145 calories).  I also enjoyed a bit of cheese on toast with tomatoes and leaves, lush.

I enjoyed all my food yesterday, had an omelette with an orange for breakfast,

and chicken wings, mash and peas for tea.  Cooked the wings in the Ninja omg dangerously tasty.

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't work out the calories, just focussed on upping my fruit and veggies.

No lie in this morning, struggled to stay in bed till 4ish!  I think I've finally caught up on my sleep and I'm a little excited about the cat's arrival too if I'm honest.

Aryn's still got a poorly belly so I'm going to have to call the paediatrician today as the medication he's been given isn't doing what we hoped and it's a week today since he started taking it.

I love Fridays, himself comes back and it's the start of the weekend, I've got Indian for tea, there's a meal deal offer in Sainsbury's 2 mains, 2 sides and naan for £8.  I'll serve it as a buffet style thing so they can try a bit of everything.

But let's be honest today is really all about the cats, getting used to having them in the house, making sure the menfolk remember to keep the doors closed and giving them space to get used to us.  Oh and feeding them, something else for me to remember to do lol, my memory ain't great if I'm honest.

I am gonna get some work done today too though, working on a new journal, so I'll do a bit of that, my bedroom floor looks like a teenager's room, clothes everywhere, it really needs sorting, but today I know I'm just gonna stuff it back in the wardrobe and shut the door!

Here's to a fab Friday, Tracktober starts tomorrow - EEK, I'll be tracking it all again, we know it really helps!

Mwah, luv ya

Gotta love sleep!

Thursday 29th September 2022
Sleep is sometimes the best medicine.
I've had a lie in, well I got up at 6.10am which is a lie in for me, I'm not going swimming this morning, one because I wanted to try and sleep in and catch up on my sleep and also my shoulder joints are sore so I'm gonna give them a few days to calm down.  I may have been swimming, but I've not been taking care of myself in other ways the last few weeks so that changes today!

I've already enjoyed my breakfast, bacon and mushroom omelette and the nicest orange, if all oranges tasted like that, I'd happily eat them daily, thanks Kim for my orange, you've encouraged me to go and buy some today.  I am glad I'm still in my PJs though because it went everywhere, so I'll need a bib to eat them going forward!  On a real positive, I'm 2 portions up for my fruit and veggies intake today.

Let's talk Christmas, shall we? NO!  Well, I'm going to because it's only 12 weigh-ins away and that's crazy talk.  I know I'm an overgrown child, but I've started loving Christmas, last year was amazing and even though I'm not sure what our plans are this year, and my tree is in the Ireland house, I still plan to make sure it's a truly special one!  86 SLEEPS - eek!

.

Today's the last day of a pet free house, I've just stood making a cuppa and realised if they live as long as Elle's cat did, I'll be in my late 60s, that's a scary thought that makes me realise my age!

I had a boy with a poorly belly yesterday so we didn't have the toad in the hole, hopefully we'll get it today, I plan to add brocolli and some peas to the plate, if I've got some frozen onions left in the freezer, I'll make me a bit of onion gravy too, so there's 3 more portions of veggies.  Not easy this 8 a day they recommend now!  Yep 3 fruit and 5 veggies, at the hospital there were posters of the Food Tree of Nutrition.

We all just need to work on our portion size because we eat too much!

Anyway, I need to get dressed for work, this lying in is fun but I've gotta leave in 45 minutes!

Mwah, luv ya

It's comfort food season ain't it!

Wednesday 28th September
Halfway to the weekend!

Well go me, I lost 1.5lb thankfully, proving I did make a few wise choices last week YAY.    Did my 30 lengths at the baths yesterday, at least that's getting me fitter.  My body still aches though, even my thumbs, this getting old lark ain't no fun lol.

Foodwise, I indulged in bacon and brie croissants for breakfast, used the ninja to cook that, I'm starting to love it. I also had a Lidl jam doughnut for lunch then stew for dinner.  At least I had some veg in that stew.  I've got a big orange to enjoy this morning thanks to a very lovely lady giving me some fruit.

Here's a smile moment, meet Coco, he's 3 and Millie who's 2, I had the call last night, both passed their healthchecks and will be arriving Friday morning - eek!

Coco                                              Millie

I think they'll bring a whole lot of energy and love to the house; I know Aryn will love having them and the house has felt empty without an animal in it, this house has always had a creature or two until we lost Alfie last November.

The huddles were lots of fun yesterday, I probably giggled more than I should at work ;) but honestly the conversations and subjects we end up covering can be hilarious!  Who knew having a piddle at the swimming baths could split a room - and no we aren't doing it in the pool!

This is today's dinner with lots of green veggies, 472 calories in half of it, £2.60 from Sainsbury's, feeds 2.
I've got Sky news on here and they're saying food bills have risen over 10% in the last year, I disagree, lots of things have risen 25% or more, my milk gone from 55p to 69p, that's not 10%, my bacon 83p to £1.25 that's not 10% either.  It's a bloomin joke!

Anyway, let's focus on what we can control ay, do our bit to help if we can afford to, thanks to those who have bought some cat food or give us a bit of cash, anything will help the cat rescue people, I do really appreciate we're all busy trying to pay our own bills right now so we are grateful for donations

The temperatures dropping too isn't it, I've resisted putting the heating on, I'm sat with a blanket over me instead and I've found out my fluffy indoor jackets.  We have tile floors downstairs but I might cave this year and let him buy a rug for the living room, but my arguement there is wear slippers - oh I need a new pair of slippers the ones I have which I love are a bit to big and slip off, mmm wonder if a pair of insoles would make them fit.

Anyway, I'm waffling, need to go get ready for swimming and work, here's to a good day.

Mwah, luv ya

Love me xx
