Sunshine at last.

Sunday 5th September 2021
Making memories matters too.
After our meeting talks this week, I'd fancied a sandwich for most of it, so on the way to work yesterday I stopped at the Tesco garage and had a meal deal with a cheese and onion sandwich which I have always absolutely loved, having now eaten one, the filling was delicious, the bread not so much, see how your tastes change over time, I prefer my brown bread.  I've just added a cheese & onion sandwich filler to my basket so I can make my own.  I opted for the meal deal of course and as the side had malt loaf, 2 slices already buttered for 150 calories, which I enjoyed at lunchtime, plus a cold coffee drink, that's still in the fridge.

After Alfie's walk I weeded more of the front garden, which now looks a mess because I've left all the weeds over the slabs to dry out!  Then I need to get rid of them too, I managed to put a few of them in a neighbours compost bin on collection day last week.   We then went for a drive and bought some winter violas and planted them in the front garden so it'll be a little colour this autumn.

I finally got my chicken tikka masala, my mate came to visit, we sat all afternoon in the garden and ordered take out, I was pretty good for me, didn't eat the majority of the sauce, one poppadom, not even half a tray of rice and a bit of naan bread, oh and a bottle of wine.   Then we watched a film before I fell asleep on em, I lasted till gone 11 though, which is bloody good for me :)

It's still a novelty to be able to have people over and sit on my decking, after all that time not even being able to open the door because of the effect it had on mom.

It's looking like a lovely sunny day forecast, so once we've done our weekly zoom, a drive out to Ironbridge maybe,  whatever you're up to enjoy.

Mwah, luv ya

Love me xx
