What we see depends mainly on what we look for. John Lubbock
Sometimes the simplest of foods are what's needed and I certainly went
down that path last night with my tuna and mayo with a slice of cheese toastie,
it was really quick and tasty, cooked in my George, ready in minutes, just what
I needed after a long day. My breakfast
was a bit more random, I stood in the kitchen and saw the giant crumpet left
then noticed the leftover chicken with a bit of gravy, so I toasted the crumpet
and warmed the gravy up and poured it over it, I'm sorry how that sounds but it
tasted amazing, who needs to be normal when you can have gravy on crumpet :)
I was chatting with a member who hasn't been losing the last month and
she was thinking she shouldn't come anymore, not because she didn't want to but
she was concerned about what others thought about her attending and not
losing! My response of course was who
cares what anyone else thinks, this is your journey. It's called Weight Watchers not Weight Losers
and sometimes losing weight isn't the most important thing we have going on in
our world. Having lost 3 stone already,
at this moment in time she has other things going on in her world that are
taking up her attention and it's okay to admit you can't focus on everything
all at once, and its okay not to want to!
There will be times for all of us where our weight and our eating habits
aren't at the top of our list, we can be distracted by any number of things
from ill health to having a good time, life isn't it! If weight loss was easy we'd all be
slim! If living a healthy life was easy
we'd all be resisting temptation here, there and everywhere but it isn't is
it. Just notice today how many times
temptation is put in front of you, how easy it is to be led astray and it's not
always where you expect.
To try and help you with your weight loss, I've got us another magic offer
for May, the greengrocer hut at Hollybush garden centre is offering 10%
discount on your purchase if you show your Weight Watcher card. Bargain! Don't
forget to show your card before they ring through your shopping. I'll be going to get mine today or tomorrow
for sure, probably tomorrow as I've got my annual review with my manager today. It's already going to be a busy day without
adding food shopping into the mix!
No here's a tasty meal idea, you can either use the heck sausages or low
fat pork sausages, 4 Weight Watcher ones are 5sp, the choice is yours. Two of your five a day too, if you take the
sausages out altogether you can have the rest as a side dish to a nice
roast.

Here's to noticing the magic of today BeYOUtiful, for me yesterday the
magic included listening to the bird song as I meditated on the morning and
observing my members bond in my morning meeting, members becoming friends is
always a wonderful thing to see. Not
forgetting realising gravy and crumpets go together - now that was pure genius!
What magic does today hold...
