I love cooking and eating I do...

Saturday 7th January 2023
Some things take time.

I had a day yesterday with lots of good moments, this cat makes me smile all the time, especially when he tries to settle on the top of that post, it's just not big enough for him.

Foodwise was a delicious day if a high over on calories, having said that, it's all been tracked and I'm just 164 calories over on the day so I'll take that, I have my app set to 1/2lb a week weight loss so it'll be interesting to see the results on Tuesday.

Breakfast was bacon and brie, it should've had cranberry jam on but I forgot to add it at the end, didn't notice if I'm honest.

Dinner was a hello fresh meal I'd had delivered before Christmas and I froze the chicken, went and bought replacement pepper from Aldi, not bad at all, high in calories at 709 but tasty, I do like a sprinkle of peanuts on these stir fries.

I opened my Christmas chocolates a box of Lindt creation dessert and had 8 one of each flavour, I've left them on the table so that hopefully the boys eat them, we also opened the Christmas biscuits and I ate 3 jam dodgers from there.

Other than food yesterday, I did drag myself to the swimming pool, did just over half hour, my shoulder is hurting this morning but that just means it matches my leg pain which now seems to have spread to the other hip too, yay, it's just muscular probably from getting back to the swimming, nothing a few painkillers won't dull.

Aryn and I went to Coppice for his pre start meeting, he starts 8.30 Monday morning - eek!  All seems positive and here's to a positive step forward to the next part of his life.

We sat and watched 'the rig' on Prime, not sure if I liked it or not tbh, but there's not a lot of tv to choose from at the moment, we seem to have seen everything!

Looking forward to being back at our huddle this morning, really enjoyed this week catching up with everyone.

Here's to a good day, I fancy chip shop chips if I'm honest or taking my boys out for lunch!  We'll see how the day goes.

Whatever you're up too, enjoy it,

Mwah, luv ya

love me xx
