Well I've been home just over 24 hours and it's lovely to be back! We arrived just after 3am shattered as you can imagine, it's a hell of a trek, I say it every time we travel and it doesn't get any easier and fair play to himself doing that drive feeling how he did because the weather was dreadful too.
I managed a few hours sleep but woke at 8 so went to the huddle to see Elle and our members, it was lovely to be back and even better when I stepped on the scales, I'd only gained 1/2lb all over the Christmas period since I last weighed on December 19th, I was thrilled, all that sensible shopping with the help of Aryn really made a difference, he'd said no everytime I'd asked 'do you want' as I pointed at the treat stuff and because of that, we didn't have any of it in the house. I'd also been more active than usual hadn't I, my average step count had gone up 3,000 steps a day and I'd been carrying all those logs!
That's helped given me motivation to keep going now and lose those pounds!
To help me I've ordered an Hello Fresh box, if you fancy giving it a go, here's the link to get 60% off 1st box, 25% off for 10 weeks, and I get £45 credit after they place an order using your referral code which will help me enormously I won't lie! Hello Fresh offer
I can't wait for them to arrive Monday, save me thinking for a few days, just need to feed us for the next few days first. I'm thinking a chicken casserole/hot pot today, or Garlic Chicken just need to nip to the shops to get some ingredients because my fridge looks like this...
The fact it was virtually empty encouraged me to give it a clear out yesterday ready to refill. There's a little in it now that we bought back from Ireland, spread, cheese triangles and milk oh and this yogurt.
I was going to snack on it when I got back yesterday but thought twice when I saw the calories! Instead I made this for an extra 100 calories.
It was delicious and I replaced the butter with cheese triangle, I'll buy the light ones next time I shop, more to save on saturated fat rather than calories, but look at the comparisons.
