Starting week 3!

 Monday 15th January 2024

Another day survived, I did go over on my calories, more than I realised because I've just noticed I hadn't tracked my eggs on my breakfast - DOH! Over the week, I've balanced it out thankfully.  I've burned an average of 2,181 calories a day, and consumed an average of 1678 so a 3517 calories deficit over the week which should be a pound loss, here's hoping it is a loss onThursday!

My steps are okay too, I'd like to get them higher of course but my pain is holding me back and I don't want to overdo it.  We managed to get my steps up a little yesterday walking round the shops to get Aryn a new coat.

Food wise we started the day with soft boiled eggs and soldiers, they were delicious, I had a cheese triangle instead of butter.  later I cooked a roast beef dinner, I cooked the beef in my Ninja on dehydrate, it defaults to 6 hours at 60 degrees and this was a 5lb joint from Taylors butchers that's been in the freezer since last November, amazing beef and I had it on offer so even better!

We like our beef quite rare and I screen shot those guidelines but I think it was about 53 when I checked mine, it was perfect anyway and if you've fancied a Ninja I think I  mentioned yesterday they're on offer on their website, £60 off mine.  I really like it, makes things cook evenly, especially sausages!

I did pick a little, we brought him a packet of maltesers and tangfastic whilst we were out and I had a couple of each, all tracked though.  It was my wine and beef that took me over budget, I kept pinching a bit out the fridge - oops!

Looking outside, it looks like we've had a thin sprinkle of snow, that can do one, I don't like the stuff and we don't need the stuff!  What I do need is a tidy house, it's a blooming messy hole at the minute and I could do with two cats who will just let me put the drops on their necks - honestly!  I've finally done both with the flea ones, now I've got to do the worming ones, they have to have more than one each for those, well they are gonna have to wait another day cos they run as soon as I try and I'm not chasing.

On that note, I'll go start my day, hope Aryn's okay to go to school and that himself feels a little better still this morning - deep sigh....

Mwah, luv ya

Love me xx
