All clear :)

Wednesday 31st January 2024

Let's start with the fab news that my hospital appointment went great, all clear nothing to worry about and I have to say the staff were wonderful.  My appointment at the doctors was January 8th and you can't complain at that turnaround all done before the end of the month.  Such a relief that I don't have cancer or anything else going on down there it was just the HRT patches causing the bleeding.  Going forward if I want to try HRT again there are other options but I'm going to see how I go for a month with my change in diet, exercise and the fact that as Spring arrives moods all round lift!  We've all been ill this month in my house, that's going to affect my mood as is the fact I'm in constant pain from my Spondylolithesis which after having to lie on my back with my legs up in those stirrups was just horrid last night, I pathetically cried myself to sleep 🙄

I've managed sleep though with the help of some painkillers, I'm learning lots by doing my own research which will hopefully help.  I did call about my referral to orthopaedic spinal clinic and the waiting list is approximately 53 weeks so I need to try and do something now and help myself!  Lose weight, strengthen my core but only doing certain exercises as other ones can make it worse and low impact exercises like walking.  I'll get there!

I've managed to track the entire month and it's getting easier, I've not had wine for a week and not only haven't I missed it but I haven't had any indigestion or heartburn either, that in itself is worth not drinking.  Yes it tastes nice and yes it does numb my pain but no more than painkillers when it's at its worse.  I've always been a drinker and I really enjoy my wine but when I got to the point that I was drinking every day it was because my life had got a bit shit looking after mom, it was helping me zone it all out the repetitiveness, the extreme behaviour but guess what, my life's pretty damn good now, I don't  need to zone out.  Yeah we've all been poorly this month but when himself said 2024 has been crap last night, I replied when January ain't been great but that's only one month.

Not drinking every day also means I can spend more calories on delicious meals and yesterday we had this one, cheap too, cost about £3 a head.  I know the presentation could do with some work but I was in so much pain putting it out, I didn't care.

both of these are delicious, the joint is £2.99 in the freezer section in Aldi, the potatoes are £2.19 a pack, I bought 2 and shared between the 3 of us.  So good!

Elle held the fort yesterday morning but I was back last night feeling great about my results trying to ignore the pain lol.

Today we're having salmon I'm going to do it with Couscous but I'm also going to cook a pack of bulger wheat that I got from the Polish shop, they're boil in the bags so I'll cook for us all to try a bit, see what we think of it.  I need some veg to go with that, not sure what's left in the fridge, we have frozen peas and beans but I want a variety in my week.

Despite my pain, I managed a 20 minute walk with Aryn on the afternoon, no wonder I was in pain yesterday, I hadn't realised I'd done over 10k steps just looked at my fitbit. It was all the walking round the hospital finding where I needed to go I guess.

I'm still gonna go to the gym even if it's only to do a few core exercises and a little on the bike, little and often!

Right that's me, I'm off to get ready for the huddle this morning! Have a great day,

Mwah, luv ya

Tuesday 30 January 2024

No avoiding this camera lol!

Tuesday 30th January 2024

To say it was my day off yesterday, it was a busy day!  I did manage to get to the gym though, starting working on a few low intensity core exercises.  I've searched for spondylolisthesis and sciatica exercises and I'm glad I did because there's some really good information on the internet and Youtube, however a little scary too when the experts tell you in a nutshell you have a fractured spine!  On a positive they're giving me exercises to try that aren't going to do me any more harm, that's the most important.  I also did a 15 minutes in the pool walking and swimming, not too much because I'm in pain, but they've told me to work on my core and my legs, so that's the plan.  My fitbits telling me I wasin the active zone for 43 minutes, 5,582 steps but my 20 mins on the bike and the swimming wouldn't show as steps, I burned 2,245 calories so a good day for a day off.

Only 7 hours sleep though because we stayed up till ten watching Trigger Point series 2, it had to be done and it didn't disappoint, I was in bed till 6 but I was awake for an hour according to app, I got up a couple of times to wee, I'm hoping all this weeing in the night is because I'm losing weight :)

Another day on track with tasty meals, no caffeine at all yesterday and finally woke up without the groggy head, I'm drinking more water because of it, both hot and cold water, that's got to be good for me hasn't it.  Also haven't had a glass of wine since last Tuesday so a week today, I automatically went to get a glass the first couple of days but haven't bothered since, proving it's just a habit.  A nice habit don't get me wrong but a habit none the less.  Don't worry I don't intend to become teetotal, nah that's never gonna happen!

I did use almost all my calories yesterday thought, leaving 94 spare, consumed 1684 calories, enjoying these meals,

Convinced them to have jumbo fish finger wraps for breakfast at 10am so brunch really bloomin lovely they were, bit of mayo mixed in with some salad and they were perfect. xx

Dinner was a chicken dinner, again delicious and I have to say the M&S rotisserie chickens are more expensive but damn you can taste the difference!  They're £9 but I had it on a meal deal offer and that 25% off but I would consider buying one when they're not on offer because at least I enjoy it.
The M&S family dinner meal is £18 on Ocado at the minute, 1 main, 4 sides, 1 dessert, not bad.  Ocado: Meal Deal:

Well, that was my day, todays the day I have a hysteroscopy basically a camera to examine the inside of my uterus  NICE!  Basically they want to rule out cancer on the lining of the womb so let's do that shall we and if it is cancer, let's deal with it!

I'm going to set up the huddle for Elle first so I won't be sitting here thinking about 'what if' all morning will I!

I've not planned meals because I don't know how this morning will go, I have got salmon and couscous if I want to cook but beans on toast will do me or maybe I'll let him treat us to chippy, ooo a chip butty with ketchup sounds lush.

I'm in lots of pain this morning down my leg but I'm feeling positive, every day I'm doing a little bit more work towards getting me back to the best health that I can, I've almost completed my first month and tweaked so much, here's to ending on a high.

On a mission to make me well....

Monday 29th January 2024

Oh yes, another day in the bag that's me starting day 29 of tracking, not just tracking but making those changes, finished the day well within my allowance.

Breakfast at 8.30am was guacamole and egg bap with chorizo, mushrooms and spinach, 477 calories but delicious and kept me satisfied till my next meal which was 4.15pm, I also had an apple, I'm enjoying them at the moment.

Dinner was beef burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato and gherkins, chips, a side salad and carrot & raisin with orange juice.  SOOOOO good, the carrot and raisin idea I had from my meal at Egos, it wasn't quite the same but it was still nice, I put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes to soften it up a bit, I'd eat it again on a salad for sure.  898 calories in total with the mayo and ketchup on the burger, plus I ate the orange after squeezing the juice out of it.

I'm still drinking hot water instead of tea, bit of a head when I woke up this morning which I'm guessing is caffeine withdrawal and I didn't think I drank a lot!  I haven't had a glass of wine since last Tuesday but so far it's not made me feel any 'better', my sleeps the same, I thought when I fell asleep in the early evening it was because I'd had a drink, but I'm still doing it.  I'm taking painkillers instead of drinking wine to numb the pain in my back / leg but it's not as pleasurable or as effective lol.  It is however saving me calories and money so there's a win/win!

The money I'm saving is covering all the fruit we're eating :)

I was very pleased that I managed to walk a mile and a half yesterday with Aryn, we walked around the drive which I was led to believe was a mile but according to the time it took and my Fitbit it's more!

The average person does a 20 minute mile and mine is saying 23 minutes but I have to stop every now and then to stretch my leg or squat down to relieve the pain so I don't think that's too bad.  prior to December I could do 15-20 mins before the pain kicked in but at the minute it's kicking in immediately, it's constant so we'll work back up to pre December fitness I'm sure.  I've had some suggestions for my core strength which I'll have a go with too.

Deadloch was funny and strange, I did snooze through some of it but what I saw I enjoyed!  Running out of things to watch, I'm even at the point of watching the YouTube crap he watches with him!

I had a nice soak in the bath yesterday after my walk, must do that more often, I do love a bubble bath, it's relaxing.  I did wake up this morning thinking about my hospital appointment tomorrow, I've just read all the gumph, I thought it said I couldn't have sex for a week which is why I was thinking about it when I woke up, but it doesn't it says normal physical activity and sex can be resumed when any bleeding and discomfort is settled :) What can I say, when mom was ill I went a decade without, I'm making up for lost time!

TMI I know so we'll move on to today, Jumbo fish fingers on the menu today as they're use by today, I thought we were having chicken but that's tomorrows meal.  I wanted chicken, fish finger wraps for breakfast?  Could I sell that to the boys?  Then we could have chicken for dinner.  Tomorrow then depending on how I feel we could have something easy....

Right let's get this day started, huddle chat to put together, house is pretty tidy to be honest and the laundry basket isn't full but I do need to strip the beds and do that.  I want to get to the gym too.

Have a great day,

Mwah, luv ya

Sunday 28 January 2024

I'm am SO in the zone it's scary!

Sunday 28th January 2024

Day 27 in the bag and I'm ready for day 28, feeling in control with my tracking, enjoying my meals, making small tweaks which seem to be working.  I'm trying to change my health not just my weight and hopefully it's going to work!

I finished yesterday on 1382 calories (a bit different to last Saturday lol), Fitbit tells me I burned 2,175 which is a deficit in calories for sure.  I managed to do my mile walk despite being in a great deal of pain, I took painkillers and thought, hell just get it over with, it's got to get easier at some point.  I need to look into core exercises to do, I've had a quick google but will try and put together a routine for the gym.

Foodwise, I was very well behaved yesterday :) when I got back from the huddle, himself had already had his breakfast saying that he thought if he had it before I got home, I wouldn't be tempted by the bacon and sausage and he was right, instead I put together this plate of fruit and cottage cheese with pineapple and surprisingly I really enjoyed it.

Dinner time we had an M&S Thai meal deal which was 2 mains and 2 sides for £12 but I had another 25% discount with my Ocado order so £9 bargain.  The top meal is mine the bottom is the boys, they had naan bread too.  I didn't feel like I was missing out by not having the sides, I'd rather have the chips than curly fries, they're lower in calories too.  I would definitely have Thai again it was delicious, fancy trying a restaurant now.   I choose those two curries because they were the lower calories of the choices but they were really tasty.  Two meals served the 3 of us because of all the sides.  The rice was Tilda white and brown, you wouldn't have noticed there was brown in it at all.

We nipped to the Polish shop to have a look to see if the Kefir was cheaper, it was a little, the plain one Krasnystaw litre was £1.45 but looking on Sainsbury's app they have one for £1.75, the same brand as the Polish shop is £1.20 for 420g less than half the quantity.  The smaller one I bought Milko 330ml was 69p which is the same make as the litre one in Sainsburys, a 250ml one in Sainsburys is £1.65 so it's making its money on certain brands they do flavoured stuff too which I'm not fussed about.  The biotiful range is very expensive, £2.60 for 500ml or £3.50 for 1L, I can't see it being any better can you?

Why am I drinking it?  I want to see if it helps my gut health, I'm trying to take away my stomach problems heartburn/indigestion etc and I have to say after being really bad Wednesday, I haven't had anything too bad.  What changes have I made since then?  Well, I've switched tea for hot water and I've not had any wine.  I've also eaten good, healthy foods, so it's a combination of things, no one thing.

The boys had two amazing looking cakes, I just remembered I tasted a bite of his sponge so I've gone back and tracked it, so I ate 1450, who have I become this month!?  Long may it continue...

Burgers today I think, the burgers have todays date on so definitely burgers today, ooo I'm looking forward to them for sure.  I'm going to go and track that now so I know what I have left for the rest of the day.  I bought some guacamole so maybe that with egg and toast for breakfast, now toast would sometimes give me stomach issues so we shall see if it does today.

I have to say though, I thought it was the wine that made me fall asleep early, apparently it isn't, I could've gone to bed at 8 easy last night, kept falling asleep on the sofa whilst we were watching Deadloch, an odd but amusing show.

Here's to trying to stay away all day today because again I've got up at 5.30!  Wish I could lie in and sleep but needing the loo wakes me up then I'm awake.

On that note, I'm off to put the washing in the tumble dryer - rock and roll lifestyle right here.

Mwah, luv ya

Saturday 27 January 2024

Surviving the weekend is the plan...

 Saturday 27th January 2024

Well my day went as planned yesterday, a Friday on track and ending well within budget!  GO ME!  Is it easy, hell no, do I want to have lots of crackers with himself when he sits down with a pile - of course, am I glad I didn't - hell yeah!

I made a delicious fish pie for dinner  changed the recipe up a little due to what I had in the house and my shopping delivery and it was delicious.

Yeah, I love it when everyone inhales my food, it makes me feel appreciated and this was inhaled, I'd love to say the plates were licked clean but neither of them EVER do that - weirdos!

Had mango, Greek yogurt and honey for dessert and later I did have some black olives whist he ate his crackers, they're delicious but hell there's a lot of calories and fat in them - good fat though.  I still had calories left, finished my day on 1360 calories, having used 2,195 and again doing our walk, we didn't quite make a mile but that's okay, we did something, 0.68 miles followed by a walk round Aldi so a walk across the car park, I couldn't have done both, the sciatica in me is strong at the moment!

The rest of the day was spent in front of tv, in pain from all the movement then cooking dinner but distracted by Griselda on Netflix, I enjoyed it overall, there were bits I found unnecessary and I don't like to have to read subtitles because they're speaking another language even though I have subtitles on all the time they're there to help me not to make me read them!  I like stuff based on true stories because they're usually the most unbelievable!

I made the mistake of googling sciatica caused by Spondylolisthesis and I wished I hadn't, I was looking for ways to help myself but it didn't fill me with joy.  I shall continue with losing weight and taking pressure off and learn to live with it.

A busy morning ahead, can't wait, love Saturday's, then I may indulge in a sausage sandwich later, or eggs we shall see, dinner is planned all my dinner are planned as when the shopping came I looked at the use by dates and planned accordingly so this is our week.

I have a bit of leeway with the dates so can switch it up a little, use by dates on right, feels good to have a plan though.  I really want the burgers so we may switch today and tomorrow :)

On that note, let's start day 27, I'm amazed I've tracked in January, it's always my toughest month and I did it!

Have a great day,

Mwah, luv ya

Friday 26 January 2024

Enjoying taking care of myself again.

Friday 26th January 2024

YAY, as you can see I lost a pound, that's another 4lb of pressure taken off my knees, 20 = 80lb of total pressure removed, here's to another loss next week, 1/2lb will do, as long as it's going down.

My day was busy, it's Thursday, we have 3 huddles so it's good busy!  I tracked 100% again and stayed well within my allowance, so starting day 26 today of 100% tracking.  This was my day, breakfast was a pear and satsuma and a mug of tea, followed by mugs of hot water, it's helping get my water intake up as drinking colds not so easy in this weather.

Lunch was tuna pasta bake, there wasn't much left in the kitchen before my delivery this morning plus I hadn't got long between huddles to spend ages cooking so this hit the spot and we all devoured it.  simple store cupboard ingredients tinned tuna, dried pasta and a jar of Aldi chilli con carnie mild sauce 99p, topped with cheese and grilled.

It worked, I even made a bit of garlic bread using stale bread spread with a bit of anchor spreadable and garlic puree popped in the air fryer for a few minutes.   As you can see, my eyes were bigger than my belly as I couldn't finish it.  Put the leftovers in a tub, I did eat all the cheese that was on top though!

When I got home on the evening went for a walk, did a mile, walking hurts like hell but I'm hoping it will ease the more I do it.  I had to stop twice to scooch down to take the pressure off my spine and sciatic nerve so 23 minutes for a mile wasn't bad plus it helped take my overall steps up for the day.

Wasn't majorly hungry when I got back but wanted something so we had this and I haven't had it for years, I really enjoyed it and I will definitely be buying Aldi beans and sausages again.  I found the bread in the freezer, who knows how long they've been in there but it was okay and my cheese triangle worked a treat.  Cheap meal right there for the future, 57p for those beans and sausage so easily under a pound for the meal.

And that was my day, 1294 calories consumed, fitbit telling me I earned a thousand more which is a great day, especially as I didn't feel deprived.

Fish pie today, tempted to use a tin of chicken soup as the sauce but we'll see if I can be bothered to make a white sauce.

I'm feeling lazy, I do have someone coming to see us from the school today, but that's the only thing I have to do.  We'll do a half hour walk later, get some movement but otherwise, a chill out day I think.  My shoppings coming this morning, I'm looking forward to filling my fridge back up and it's great having my meals planned.

I want a hassle free day, my hormones are all over the place, crying at the drop of a hat, of course that's not helped with all the illness in this house but before I removed that patch, I was handling it without the tears 🙄

I've already started my next shopping list because things just continually run out don't they! A trip to aldi or lidl for bits maybe but not today!

Here's to a fab Friday, on track, in control and changing my future health!

Mwah, luv ya

Thursday 25 January 2024

Will I lose, gain or stay the same?

Thursday 25th January 2024

Starting day 25 of tracking and it's weigh day, wish me luck!  Am I 100% happy with my progress?   yes I am because I'm still on it, yes I'm not always making the best choices, there are still lthing I'd like to change, some of those things easier than others but I'm setting the groundwork for sure and I'm thrilled with that, especially as it's January, a horrible month, I've had a birthday, my emotions are ridiculous up and down since removing the HRT patch, I'm waiting on my 'urgent' cancer appointment so yeah I'm really pleased with how I'm handling all this and still thinking about what I'm eating.  I do need to cut back on the wine again though because quantity of that has gone up again, since that appointment, one step at a time, one day at a time and yesterday I chose not to have wine, I did the same Sunday so that's progress, 2 wine free days.

I also went to the gym after our huddle and managed 30 mins on the recumbent bike covering 10km and 5 mins on treadmill just to try and get used to walking but I had to stop, it was hurting me in the bum cheek and down my leg to my foot - yay, gotta love sciatia, thank you spondylolisthesis and my bulging disk for the pain you're giving me to remind me I'm still alive!

After the gym I met my bestie in Ego's for lunch, not seen her for ages so it was lovely to catch up. She fancied the sharing board starter, which was nice, I loved the chorizo and halloumi skewers, the calamari was okay too, red pepper tapenade is tasty, you've got to love a dip but I could take or leave the fishcakes and falafel.

For my main I had Courgette and Sweetcorn fritters, I was full no time it was tasty but the more I ate it the greasier and heavier it felt which was telling me I'd had enough so I stopped.

I like to order things I've not had before to try, I was looking forward to dukka but there was only a sprinkle so didn't really taste anything.  I will definitely try to make carrot, raisin and orange salad as a side dish in the future, really tasty, there was a few chick peas in there too which added to the texture.

I didn't eat again once home, I actually felt a bit sick from too much food, heartburn and indigestion causes the sicky feeling so something else I think I'm finally going to have to admit defeat on and go to doctors maybe.  Although I'm getting this hospital appointment out of the way first, I'm giving myself another month to make 'diet' changes and see if they help because the changes I've made so far have helped.

The boys had beef madras, I'd put beef stewing meat and a couple of pouches of spice magic hot madras curry sauce (from farm foods) in the slow cooker and it cooked it beautifully, left it on low from about 7 till 4 and it was perfect beef!

Yeah more planning with my meals, more thought!  I've got a supermarket shop coming tomorrow, I had a 25% off voucher for Ocado so couldn't resist.  Looking at it though, I've most ordered none edible stuff!  I have ordered some food though, all of the offers I went for but only stuff we'd eat and that's not going to blow my calorie bank!

There was a curry type deal so I went for Thai, we can have that with rice one night, the boys can have Naan, I won't, not fussed by them happy with a couple of poppodoms.

I've ordered burgers as I've fancied them for a while, not ordered the baps so will look what's the best option or maybe not have the bap,nah I want the bap!

I've finally ordered a fish pie mix, so can make one maybe Friday when I have the day free, I've bought the jumbo fish fingers cos they're way nicer, we could have them in wraps or with mash and vggies.  Finally salmon fillets because they were on a real offer and I'll freeze at least half of them I might do the other 3 with couscous or bulgar wheat (need to buy some first though DOH!) I've just added them to the basket, love one click where you can just add one more thing without having to go in and edit the whole basket and check out again!

Right I'm all sorted with meal ideas for the foreseeable, I've got plenty of fruit, get back on the porridge rather than skipping meals, I think that will help with my stomach issues, skipping meals seems to make it worse!

Here's hoping for a great result at the scales, I'll take 1/2lb bearing in my it's been my birthday, I've been out twice and had what I fancied, I had a kebab on my actual birthday, so yeah I'll take a maintain won't I but I'd love a loss!  I really want to sort myself out, I watched another episode of the Channel 4 supermarket shop programme where Michael Mosley goes to help a couple in their home, the one I watched last night, she was overweight and her mood was low but after just 5 weeks of making changes so many things had improved including her mood, that's what I want to see happen.

Stop talking, start doing!  Have a great day xx

Mwah, luv ya

All quiet in my world...

Wednesday 24th January 2024

Already showered and mug of tea in hand, woke up having a hot flush, thought the heating had come on and it hadn't but I felt like it was on full blast, the removal of the HRT patches is bringing back all my other symptoms but at least I've stopped bleeding.

Tracking day 24, let's have ya!  I finished within budget too, didn't do too well with my cooking though, overdid the pork loin chops in the air fryer, they were edible thankfully but only just!

I managed 30 minutes in the gym 20m on the recumbent bike and 10 mins walking on the treadmill, I cover 7km on the two combined.  It's not a lot but it all helps, I was in pain before I went and yeah I'm still in pain but I can't just stop moving all together because the pain doesn't go away.

I'm off out for lunch with my bestie today, so I'm going to put a beef curry in the slow cooker for them to help themselves whenever, I can have a bit for my tea later if I do get hungry or the leftovers can be frozen, win/win.

Before that though, we've got our morning huddle and I'm gonna go to the gym again, have an afternoon to myself, I need one!

Short and sweet blog today, not much going on other than busy huddles and the usual day to day stuff.

Have a great day folks,

Mwah, luv ya

Tuesday 23 January 2024

What progress can you make today?

Tuesday 23rd January 2024

Another day of tracking, I did end over budget by 141 calories, but at least it was all tracked, more or less equal on calories in / calories out.  I'm giving myself a break, doing my best, coming off my HRT has made a difference to my mood and body, so I'm working on getting hold of that right now too.  I've had my appointment for my outpatient hysteroscopy a week today, that will be one more thing off the list.  I've got Aryn off school, he's only done a couple of days this year so that's on my mind, we're waiting for a re-referral to the hospital for him.  Himself is still not right, so basically everyone in this house is broken and if I'm only 141 calories over because I had a piece of bread with a cheese triangle and a few olives, I'll take that!

My meals were good look, those plum baby tomatoes were delicious as were the eggs.  I'd planned chicken for dinner but when it had defrosted it smelt so we didn't risk it.

I'd nipped to Aldi and they had trout fillets, 2 for £3.99 and as it's my favourite fish, I treated us, they were delicious.  Had it with stuffed peppers and a 1/3 of a thin margarita pizza rather than garlic bread as we had those in freezer already.

I never made the gym because my sister popped round and we had a giggle and a catch up, by the time I'd done the notes it was time to go get my nails done and then Aldi, after that I didn't want to go, I like to go earlier in the day.  I'll get there, I'm not putting it off deliberately.  I'm trying to find a balance between exercise and making my pain better or worse!

I bought a couple of those Aldi frozen £3 pork joints to fill up the freezer, for the price they're a bargain and I'll try to cook the next one in airfryer as the take 100mins in oven!

What to eat today?  I'm definitely going to the gym so the males in this house can take care of themselves till I get back this afternoon!  I'm only going to think about dinner, I bought pork chops too, so maybe those with some veggies and spuds.  We'll see how I feel when I get home, all I need to do right now is shower and get dressed for work! That's enough thinking for this time of the day...

Let's focus on a little progress today, make it a good one!

Mwah, luv u

Monday 22 January 2024

Starting week 4 of the year!

Monday 22nd January 2024

I had a lovely birthday weekend and survived!  Starting day 22 of tracking this morning, I've tracked all weekend, we went out for a meal Saturday night so tracking that wasn't exact but I did my best.

This was my meal, I forgot to take the photo which had the meze, hummus etc, it was a sharing platter and I didn't eat too much of the main, I soon filled up, it was all delicious, I'd definitely recommend the restaurant and return.  We had a table for 9 and booked it last minute, he squeezed us in at 5.30pm so we knew that tables were allowed 2 hours or 2.5 hours for large parties from the website but they didn't rush us at all, we were there 3 hours and when we asked if they wanted the table, they said no we were okay.  Facebook Meze in Cannock.

We ended up round our neighbours till half one in the morning so my calories were mostly made up of alcohol rather than food!  We weren't much use yesterday, the only thing we did was watch tele and I managed to feed us twice,

I could've eaten my own head yesterday but I resisted, the only thing I snacked on was two slices of pepperoni out the fridge.  I managed to pull back a few calories, but obviously Saturday was guessed.

Over the week, I'm over but not horrendously, my Fitbit is saying I burned 15217 calories, a difference in my favour, so let's see what the scales say on Thursday!  If I hadn't been tracking, it would have been a hell of a lot worse.  Writing it down really does make you think about what you're going to eat.

I'm thinking I'm going to cook stuffed peppers today, use up some of the food in the fridge, I have a tub of frozen chilli I could use to stuff one half and I could put rice in the other half.  We had bulgar wheat at the Turkish restaurant on Saturday, we all really liked that, so maybe I'll buy some when I shop and see if I can make it taste good like that one did.  The other side dish we liked was saksuka, which was fried aubergine, potatoes, courgette, red & green peppers, onions with tomato sauce really tasty.  Just looked for a recipe, there's a few I will look into.

Got to get stuff done today, I want to get to the gym, need to shop and I'm having my nails done, it's paid for too, lovely birthday gift :) They're in better condition than when I got back from Ireland, I'll be keeping them short though, no long nails for me, I can't function with them :)

Anyway, I need to get a huddle chat planned for the week ahead too, so I need to get on with my day, oh and empty the washing machine for a change!  Have a great day.

Mwah, luv ya

Love me  xx
