Don't forget to live!

I got stuff done yesterday, turn this into that and it was delicious, had some for dinner with half a pack of microwave rice, forgot to take a photo, was too keen to eat!

Had a quick visit from Nicki then Lucy came round for a coffee and the saboteur bought chocolate shortcake and it was still warm, check me out, I had one bite then gave what she left to my sister.  I'm in the zone and it's taken me so long to get here, I'm hanging on for as long as possible.  There will be indulging today though, t-bones are at the ready and fizz to wash them down, you've got to have balance haven't you.  I still find it a novelty that I can have people in the house, invite people over and just open the door and say 'come in' when they unexpectedly knock the door.

When I'd finished cooking, I did my workout, a 45 minute one yesterday,

love a bit of Daniel from Body Project and in this one, it's just him, a different type of routine to normal, using weights, I only used 1kg ones, they're all I have, but they're enough for now I guess.  These videos have really helped me get my energy levels up and some of my body strength back, I'd forgotten how good I can feel until I started feeling that good again (if that makes sense!)

Next I hoovered and mopped and did all my washing which was almost dry when the heavens opened whilst I was out with my sister at the vets, but who cares about the washing when we didn't return with her Missy, she was a poorly old girl and had 15 or more really good years being spoilt by a wonderful family, it's still sad when it happens though isn't it.

A bit of crochet, listened to some tunes, drank some wine and had a lovely night in - life it very, very good.

Now for a busy day, at our huddle this morning at Old Fallings United Reform Church, then off to this;

Yep, looking forward to the weekend ahead, here's to a very, very, good day ahead.  Don't forget whilst you're on your weight loss journey, it's still okay to go do stuff, have fun and make memories, I've done a lot of reminiscing the last week over stuff I used to do 20+ years ago and I've done a lot of smiling remembering it.

Mwah, luv ya

Love me.
