40 days to Christmas!

Tuesday 14th November 2023

No school for Aryn yesterday so that changed my day up a little, I didn't get to the gym but we did get his work experience sorted for next year thanks to the lovely Laura, so that's a bonus.  Having given him time to think about what was out there he came down and said he liked the idea of engineering or mechanics and I'd spoke to a few people this past week and Laura works at an engineering company thankfully.

I did go to Sainsbury's and Tesco, managed to get a couple of Christmas gifts too which is a bonus.  I almost got caught shop lifting too!  Accidentally of course, I'd messaged my sister to show her they had Bailey's in Sainsbury's for a tenner and she asked me to get her a couple, then when I'd got everything I needed I decided to get two as well for gifts (honest Elle, they've gone in the hampers already) anyway as I went to scan them adding them to the two I'd already got, I scrolled down my 'smart' shop app and I hadn't scanned the first two, imagine if I hadn't decided to have two more!  It gets worse because when I got to the checkout, I was flagged for the random check, where they check everything in your trolley.  That would've been super embarrassing had I not realised.

I finally got my liver in onion gravy for my dinner, very cheap dinner, lambs liver in Sainsbury's is £4.50kg, the packs are just under £2 and enough for two easily, I used Idahoan mash £1 (there's some left), frozen peas and a carrot.  My dinner was about £1.60.

The Gousto box didn't arrive so they were able to cancel it, would've been nice to have a freebie but I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it as it was too much of my budget for the week.

I was really not feeling the love for being productive yesterday at all, I was going to cook a new recipe, I even bought the ingredients but I didn't get round to it, they'll keep till tomorrow.  I did enjoy putting together the huddle notes though and that took longer than usual, then by the time I'd done driving about, I was sick of the weather, the cold, the season in general.  It really is the 'once I'm home, I'm not going out again' season for me, I just want to snuggle up on the sofa with my cats and kin and chill out before going to bed as early as possible :)

I'm not gonna decide what's for dinner today because it could change depending on whether Aryn is well enough for school for one reason but because I keep changing my mind.  It's all in the freezer anyway so not difficult to cook, I'm feeling the fish finger love....

I'm going to commit to going to the gym straight from the huddle, I need to do a couple of sessions so today and tomorrow otherwise it'd ease off and I'll lose my momentum, that's too easy.

Ready to get ready for the day, let's have ya Tuesday,

Mwah, Luv ya

Love me xx
