Did you hear the good news? It's Friday!

Friday 21st April 2023
Life is better when you're laughing.

There's just no privacy any more in my bathroom!  Every morning the two cats race down the stairs and are in the bathroom before I get there, then they either play with the shower curtains, fight each other or hassle me to hurry up and finish because they want feeding!  Not that I mind, they're pure entertainment, they really are.

After a great day yesterday, I've managed a good 8 hour sleep, in bed for half eight, wide awake before 6.  Yesterday was once again full of so much laughter, every huddle is similar but they all have their own personalities and last night well, let's just say I might have to start wearing tena pads, just so funny.

Food wise, I tried, I had egg on toast for breakfast and because the bread I'd bought was 140 calories a slice, I only had the one slice as it was a crust.  I was a rebel at lunchtime, we've talked dinners all week and I've heard a few I fancy, I nipped in Sainsbury's to get apple juice for Aryn and I got myself some lamb chops and had them with another slice of bread for my lunch.  I wasn't really hungry when I got home and I really didn't fancy cooking so we had frozen pizza, I couldn't even eat all of that.  I'd been nibbing on Nice biscuits all afternoon, thankfully they've gone now and we won't be having them again in this house.  The boys like custards and bourbons but they'd left the Nice and I really like them so I won't buy the ones I really like.

For me that's what works, I can't eat what isn't there!  So tonight we're either gonna be having burgers or fish and chips, Gousto style, nom nom , they do look tasty don't they, we can have one tonight, one tomorrow.

I did buy a meal deal in Sainsburys too, £12 for a large taste the difference shepherds pie for 2, dauphinoise potatoes, two melt in middle choc puddings (the lads can eat them) and a bottle of white wine (I can drink that).  I can easily make that meal go 3 ways if I add plenty veggies.  I also bought a chicken tikka masala and rice ready meal as that range is on offer for £2.50 a meal, I might have that for my lunch today or Monday.

The weather forecast isn't great so I won't be able to finish painting the decking, but I'm sure I'll find me plenty to do, plus I have a massage booked for this afternoon to hopefully set me up for the weekend.  I am looking forward to himself coming home and a weekend of chilling.

I need some clothes so I may venture out and see if I can find anything I like, the sole is falling off my flat boots so could I get some reduced as we're heading towards sunshine months, I can then store them ready for autumn.  I'm not a fan of clothes shopping like I am food shopping!

Hey ho, here's to enjoying my day whatever I choose to do.

Enjoy your day, your way x

Mwah, luv ya

Love me x
