I nearly forgot!

Thursday 9th June 2022
What if it all goes right?

I nearly forgot to blog this morning, too busy doing other things and getting ready for work.

Back to yesterday, a quick chat on the phone with himself made me realise I can do this, he has more belief in my ability than I do when it comes to losing my weight and makes it sound so simple, 'so what if you've gained 5lb, you can lose 2lb this, week and a pound next week and do that every week', I was like, erm yeah I can, then he started to tell me how lol and stopped by saying, "why am I telling you how to lose weight Bev!" Well he did have a point but it was nice to be coached by someone other than myself  or Elle, someone that I would actually listen too, especially as he has a totally different approach to eating than I do, it was interesting.

Anyway I survived the day, consumed 1615 which means I actually had 417 left which helped to make up for the day before when I was 526 over!

Foodwise we ate two proper meals,
Salmon, rice, corn on cob and roasted pepper - 597 calories

This is a Bannisers half jacket with cheese on top (it wasn't good) and definitely not worth 193 calories, Aryn's wasn't as burnt on top as mine but he said he wasn't impressed and would rather have a normal microwave jacket  I had butternut squash chips with mine and I forgot how much I love them 54 calories, baked beans 175 calories but so much fibre at 12.1g for half can of Branston and a fried egg nom nom
Aryn and I have put together a food/daily tasks journal to make sure we both eat healthy, do our daily tasks like take tablets, clean teeth, drink plenty, eat our fruit and veg and I've added '3 good things' to it too as well as a few other things.  Hopefully it'll encourage him to remember to do things and keep me on track too!

I already have more energy than I did on Monday, every day I've felt a little better and I've caught up on my sleep too which is great.  Aware I need to drink more water as I've noticed the difference when I do and I seem to prefer it at room temperature, makes it easier to drink.

Today we're having pizza that you make yourself from a kit that was in the freezer, it'll probably be high in calories but Aryn will enjoy making them and I can have it as my main and cut back elsewhere.  I need to make this a liveable weight loss plan for me and calories does seem to be the easiest way for me to do it.

Feeling so much more positive than I was on Tuesday, I'm even planning meals in my head for the weekend, I'm thinking spaghetti bolognaise, I was going to do sweet and sour pork but he's eaten pork chops the last two nights whilst away so I thought he may have had enough of that.  I do have curry in the freezer so that could be our Friday night fakeaway, I can nip and get poppadoms and naan bread for the boys and I'll just have the poppadoms.

For now though, I need to get my backside out the door for our busy day ahead.

Mwah, luv ya

Love me xx
