Another good day?

Friday 9th June 2023
Make the most of today!

Another great day of huddles yesterday, looking forward to tomorrows now, but first to enjoy a day off, the only thing planned is the cinema, Aryn wants to go watch Spiderman!  Himself isn't back till tomorrow as working Saturday to help pay for the holiday we just had :) 

Yesterday I was healthy with my food, I had this delicious potato and egg salad for lunch, I need to get more salad today, I forgot how lovely hard boiled eggs are.  I mixed some light mayo with mustard for a bit of dressing too, it all added up to around 700 calories though, it soon adds up doesn't it. 

I wasn't really hungry and couldn't be bothered when I got back from work around 7 so I had Ryvita and flora spread, I get a bit addicted to them, so ended up having 6 in total as kept going back in the kitchen for another - 357 calories total, you could have a meal for that!  Thankfully there wasn't any cheese in the fridge otherwise those calories would have gone up a lot, instead I added more calories with some red wine.

Not a bad day at all really, I'm happy with it, now to do it all again today - we can do that can't we? 

I've got a cat on each arm this morning so typing this is taking a lot longer than usual which is why it's going to be shorter, that and I don't have much else to chat about, it's been a quiet week other than work and housework, rock and roll life me, I love it.  

The highlight of my day today is going to be doing a bit of food shopping, only fresh stuff as we are working through the frozen stuff AGAIN :) but I need cheese, cheese triangles, salad, washing powder, I know there are other things but I can't bloomin remember them now, oh Aryn wants to make another sticky toffee pudding but he's developed his recipe to a Toffifee version, he knows they are one of my favs which makes him a little bugga cos I'm trying to be good :) I fancy a BBQ Sunday, so some veggies to make kebabs I think, courgettes, peppers, onions - anything else?  Ooo corn on the cob, I could use the frozen ones I already have of them.  I'm just processing my thoughts now, can you tell? 

Here's to not rushing but still getting my steps in today, I'm using the Wolverhampton Rewards app and it gives you points for challenges which does get swapped for cash on some peoples apps, mine is one of them, last week I accepted the step challenge which I managed because I was away and moving about, this week it offered me double points to add more steps, I think it's an average of 7400 thereabouts so I accepted the challenge, that's not easy for me to get those steps but I'm trying, I managed 10k on Wednesday, didn't hit 7k yesterday though, so need to work at it for the next 3 days as I'm not as active at the weekends.
