#sortitoutseptember

Wednesday 1st September 2021
Know this: You can start over every morning.

Well what an amazing day yesterday was, our busiest Tuesday night yet, which considering it was a bank holiday weekend, we were blown away!  Lovely to see faces yesterday that I haven't seen in the flesh for a long time, some almost two years, a hug was very much needed, we've all gone through so much stuff in that time, some more than others, we need to remind ourselves - we can through it and we may never be the same but we are here and we need to embrace that.

What goes on in our huddles, well they do say what happens in a huddle stays in a huddle but I can tell you that yesterday I got stuck in a hula hoop on the morning and then Elle nearly took a computer monitor out with the same hoop on the evening!  We are a dangerous duo and obviously shouldn't be allowed around hula hoops!

We also handed out lots of certificates, not everyone wants a photo which is completely okay, but those that are okay, we try to post on Facebook, either publicly or in our closed groups.  I flunked on the scales yesterday, booooo, I'm blaming gaining a sweet tooth when I went with wine for a week, oh and those bloody bags of almonds!  Never mind, I'm still doing the exercising which I'm proud of, I'll continue to work on the weight loss.

#sortitoutseptember is our motto for the month, Elle has her new 'the months matter' journal (limited edition in huddles £3), I'm absolutely hopeless at tracking 100% on app or journal but I'm going to give it my best shot, it might kick me into touch!  If you haven't already got the nutracheck app, it's amazing, the barcode scanner is the best I've used, it even gives you a photo of the item your scanning, and you can get a year for £23.99 which is less than some charge a month!

Oh and we made it into the local newspaper,

Yeah yesterday was a really good day, we even spent an hour delivering some flyers, Alfie wasn't impressed with that at all, but it did help me clock up a total of 16,643 steps over the day with 109 active minutes and the fitbit reckons 2,726 calories burned!  I will track this week and compare intake v what the fitbit reckons I burn!

I was going to end my weight loss week with a curry last night, I put all the stuff in the basket, it's 20% off on a Tuesday but it still totalled £20 by the time I'd added all the bits I fancied.  I then realised not only won't that help my weight loss at all but I can also do half my average weekly food shop with £20, so instead I came home and had a tin of Heinz soup and a bit of bread and spread.

The other meals I had yesterday as overnight oats with apple for breakfast and toad in the hole for dinner.

I wouldn't buy pea and ham again, not even sure why I did in the first place, oh yeah I remember, they were on offer 8 tins for a fiver and I wanted to try different ones, pea and ham reminds me of a holiday I had in Torquay, that was the starter.  Aunt Bessie's toad in the hole was really good, only 419 calories and £1, absolute bargain.  Then I ate some more of those bloody almonds!  There's about 80g left, I need to get them out the house don't I!

Feeling refreshed this morning after a great nights sleep, 8.5 hours, I was glad to wake up though, I was dreaming I was pregnant!  No thank you, first thing I did when I woke was grabbed my belly thankful for it being fat not a baby :)

Here's to a day of tracking, I've got tandoori fish for lunch, I've marinaded it myself, so it will either be nice or rubbish, found the jar of past in the cupboard, should've been used by July but meh, it'll be okay.  I'll have it with rice and peas I reckon, that'll be nice.

Going to exercise when I get back from meeting, my backs a bit twingy this morning, obviously doesn't like delivering flyers so if anyone can do a few in their street, that would be great.  I'm thinking eggs on toast for breakfast, mmm yea, I need to go make that now.

Have a great day, join us in our sort it out September challenge.

Mwah, luv ya

Love me xx
