My members know how to shop!

24th July 2016
Believe you can and you're halfway there.  Theodore Roosevelt
Well it was a disturbed night, lots of noise going on outside my window, I don't normally sleep with it open so I'm more aware of people I think, the dog woke me at 3am to go up garden, the fire alarm decided to let out a squeal at 5am, just the one mind ya, on a positive I managed to go back to sleep and stayed there till the dog decided to wake me up again at 8am, little Shiz Tzu!  8am though - go me!  I'm all good now though, despite the interruptions, I've had a good few hours sleep and it looks like it's going to be another lovely day, loving it I am.

Did my shop in Lidls yesterday on the way back from my meeting, it is a good shop, it really is, avocado for 59p this week, I do love them, despite their high points.  I bought and cooked a delicious gammon joint in my slow cooker which I had some for tea with bulgur wheat, sweetcorn and broccoli, I've decided I'm not really a broccoli fan unless its covered in a sauce or in a soup.   I enjoyed the bulgur wheat, but think I haven't mastered cooking it yet so will persist and try again, I want to try and use more of these grains as I really like them and they're much cheaper if you cook them yourself rather than buying the microwave pouches.

This week in my meetings we've been putting together a Super Shopping List to help us start healthy, think about it, if you shop healthy, you're more likely to eat healthy - true story!  You can't eat what you don't buy, simple but effective.   Here's how it looks with everyone's ideas combined and typed up;

Shop healthy - be healthy!

Here's to a cracking good day BeYOUtiful, whether you've got to shop today or not!
