Yay Monday - bring it on!

4th February 2013
It is so important to tell people how much they mean to us and what an inspiration they are before it becomes too late. - Guin
 Monday morning soon rolls round doesn’t it!  Even quicker if you’ve had a good weekend which I did, yesterday was full of giggles again, we decided to sit less by trying to do what a woman in a photo on Facebook was doing;

Mmm maybe take some practice to perfect!  Isn’t the universe clever though at sending us messages, a few things over the last week or so have made me think about Yoga and my flexibility, I used to do a session in the morning and stopped when I had Alfie because he thought it was a game and drove me insane, he made it rather difficult.  So maybe I need to find the dvd out and see if he’s over that now because I’m definitely losing my flexibility, my joints are seizing up and I’m getting old and achy lol!
Watch this space – the pain you see in this face will be more of a smile than a grimace later in the year and the leg will be higher lol.
Anyways I’ve had an idea, I love food as you know and the one thing that’s almost as good as eating food is looking at it, so I’ve decided to run a competition for the month of February;
#WWEatGorgeous we all love meal ideas & it’s always better with a photo, so I’m running a competition for the month of February. For your chance to win a Weight Watcher Goodie Bag (worth £30) post your meal photos with the ProPoints totals & a description of what it is, breakdown of ProPoints etc for your chance to win. I’ll choose the best at the end of the month and you’ll win the prize! I may throw a few runner up prizes in there too!
You can also email me a photo info@happyowls.co.uk or bring the photo into the meeting whatever is easiest for you.
I will use some of the photos (maybe all) for a photo gallery of food on my www.happyowls.co.uk website which can be used by us all in future for meal ideas.  Yes my website is my hobby for the year, I started yesterday and will spend a little time on it each week to make it more substantial.
I sat yesterday afternoon when I got back from Lynne’s and planned some meals based on what was in my freezer and cupboards, there isn’t a great deal if I’m honest so I will eat what’s there whilst making a shopping list and ordering online this week!  Yes I’m taking back control of my supermarket shop by trying a bit of online shopping I think, or at the least a list!
I know if I have good meals to look forward to, I eat much better, I also want to get back into the kitchen and cooking, yeah will go through a few cookbooks too this week I think, find something scrumptious to cook, I’m into pasta at the moment.
Anyways things to do, Monday morning and all that, let’s have a healthy, happy week with weight loss as the side effect of taking care of you. xx
